We have people in the team who aren't sporty. Will they manage?

Absolutely. Our team building is designed as a pleasant walk through Prague — no running, climbing or physically demanding obstacles. The route follows flat, paved surfaces and covers no more than 3–4 km spread over 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. Each team sets its own pace and can stop or slow down at any time. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels — we regularly run events for participants aged 18 to 65. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, let us know in advance and we'll adapt the route.

Our team is very diverse — different ages, different backgrounds. Will it work?

Diverse teams are exactly what Treasure Hunt was designed for. Every player brings something different — analytical thinking, creativity, local knowledge or sheer determination. The game combines logic ciphers, photo challenges, navigation and creative tasks, so every personality type can shine and contribute. Language barriers aren't an issue — we run the game in Czech and English, and handle mixed-language groups with ease. Diverse groups often have an advantage: where the analyst gets stuck, the creative finds the way.

What is the minimum and maximum number of participants?

The minimum is 9 participants; there is no fixed maximum — we have run events for more than 300 people at once. The ideal playing team size is 5–6 people, so participants are divided into groups where everyone actively takes part. For larger events we deploy multiple Game Masters who stay in contact throughout, so rankings and results remain collective and comparable. Corporate event for 50, 100 or 200 people? Get in touch — we run large groups regularly and our logistics are battle-tested.

What if it rains?

Treasure Hunt takes place outdoors, but we're not afraid of the weather — we always have a plan. In case of rain, we can provide a poncho for every participant. Many teams tell us that a rainy hunt, everyone in ponchos, turned out to be the most adventurous of all — and the sense of pride after finishing the route in any weather is simply priceless. The event can also be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before it takes place.

How long does the event last?

The standard team building activity lasts 2 to 3 hours — including a 15-minute intro briefing, the game itself, and the closing results ceremony. The whole programme fits perfectly as part of a broader company day. If your schedule is tight, we can prepare a shorter version. A great combination is pairing the Treasure Hunt with a group lunch or dinner at a restaurant, which we can incorporate into the game as the finale location for the winners ceremony.

Hradčany offers drama, panoramic views and a royal atmosphere. Vyšehrad is loved by those who appreciate quiet, greenery and Prague legends — and it's far less touristy. Karlín is great for modern companies who want to show off an alternative, vibrant Prague. Film Locations is the perfect choice for film enthusiasts — you'll visit sites from Hollywood productions. How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking at least 1 week in advance, especially during the peak season from April to October when dates fill up fastest. For corporate events over 50 people, aim for 2–3 weeks ahead to allow time for any customisation and logistics. If you need something at short notice, contact us directly by phone — we do our best to accommodate urgent requests when we can.

How does booking work?

It's surprisingly straightforward. No bureaucracy, no complicated forms.

We meet at your hotel or an agreed spot in the centre. The story starts right there — no dry instructions, just an intro that pulls you straight into the action. You split into teams (ideally 5–8 people, pre-assigned or left to our Game Master) and each team receives a game map and booklet, the first clue and the rules. And then… go.

The finale. At the end everyone gathers together — often at a restaurant or back at the hotel. The guide tallies the results and announces the winners, presenting diplomas and prizes (included in the event price). Can we start the team building directly from our hotel?

Yes. We most often start at a square, but we can come to you — to the lobby, conference room or terrace — and the story begins before you've even stepped outside.

Here's how it works: a short, engaging intro to the storyline (no tedious briefings), splitting into teams and handing out materials (maps, clues). Then teams head straight out from the hotel into the streets.

Where does the Treasure Hunt start and finish?

Start. The most popular option is meeting in the heart of Prague — at one of the squares or points along our route, so teams can start playing right away. Starting at your hotel or office is equally fine. No need to decide right away — we'll confirm the exact meeting point during the booking process, ideally once you know where you'll be staying.

Finish. If you're planning a group lunch or dinner at a restaurant in the centre after the game, we're happy to arrange the finale there — awarding the winners at the restaurant is a popular and natural end to the day. Other options include finishing at your hotel, office or outdoors in a square or park. We have plenty of experience with every variation.

What languages do you run the Treasure Hunt in?

Treasure Hunt Prague runs in seven languages: Czech, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Every Game Master is equipped to lead the game naturally and fluently — not just reading translated instructions, but actively engaging with players, answering questions and sustaining the energy throughout.

Mixed-language groups are no problem at all. If part of your team speaks Czech and part speaks English, we run the game in parallel — game materials and the briefing are prepared in two language versions.
